Inbox

Convictional's Inbox brings your email threads together with chats, posts, and goal updates that need your attention. Open it from Inbox in the top navigation.

Views

The default view, All, shows everything that needs your attention: emails, chats, posts, and goal updates, together in one list. Alongside it, several other built-in views are available:

  • Unread — items you haven't opened yet
  • Assigned to me — threads and items delegated to you by teammates
  • Snoozed — items you've snoozed until later
  • Sent — email you've sent
  • Drafts — drafts you're working on, including shared, collaborative ones
  • Archived — items you've archived

Focus Modes

Beyond the built-in views, Focus Modes let you organize your Inbox around what matters most:

  • Urgent/Important — groups items by importance and urgency
  • By Goals — groups items under each of your goals
  • Priority — sorts items by what needs attention soonest

You can also build your own: click New view to group items your way, or New sort to rank them your way. Your saved ones appear under Custom Views and Custom Sorts.

Assigning a thread

The owner of an email thread can assign it to another team member, allowing you to delegate work while keeping the original context intact. The assignee sees the thread in their own Inbox, with full access to its previous messages and comments. The original owner can archive the thread from their own Inbox without affecting the assignee. The email will stay visible for the assignee to action.

Sharing and discussing

Within a shared email thread, everyone with access can comment and collaborate together. Live presence shows who else is looking at the thread at the same time.

Shared drafts

Everyone with access to a shared thread can collaborate on its draft reply in real time, with edits appearing as they're made. If someone else starts a draft while you're viewing an empty one, you'll be asked to confirm before replacing it. Only the thread's original recipient can actually send the reply.

Snoozing

Snooze a thread to remove it from your main view until you're ready to deal with it. Choose from:

  • Two hours from now
  • Tomorrow morning (9am)
  • Next week (Monday 9am)

Snoozed items reappear in your Inbox automatically once their snooze time passes. You can also unsnooze any email yourself at any time from your Snoozed view.

AI processing

Convictional uses AI to index email thread content, making it available for search and research. You can control whether individual threads are included in this processing.

When a thread is included (the default), its content powers search and research. Excluding a thread removes it from research outputs. You can still view, reply, forward, archive, snooze, assign, and comment on it as normal.

The thread creator can toggle this using the blur icon button in the thread header bar:

  • blur_on Included: the thread is currently included in AI processing. Click to exclude it.
  • blur_off Excluded: the thread is currently excluded from AI processing. Click to re-include it.

Excluding a thread can be reversed at any time. Choosing to include the thread re-indexes its content so it appears in search and research again.
